Jennifer Aniston had her naked boobs pulled from her new movie “Wanderlust,” putting a last-minute kibosh on a frontal topless scene out of consideration for her boyfriend and “Wanderlust” co-star, Justin Theroux, an insider tells TheWrap.

“Caesar Must Die,” a docu-drama in which murderers and mafiosi act out a Shakespearean tragedy in a high-security Italian jail, won the Golden Bear award for best picture at the Berlin film festival on Saturday.
The black-and-white movie, called “Cesare deve morire” in Italian and directed by veteran brothers Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, was among the favorites to scoop the coveted honor.
The Tavianis – Paolo is 80 and Vittorio 82 – followed a group of convicts in the Rebibbia jail on the outskirts of Rome as they rehearse “Julius Caesar” for a prison production. (more…)

When actor-director Billy Bob Thornton was a boy, his father took him to the scene of car crashes to survey the wreckage. Now he has turned his unconventional childhood into a movie.
“Jayne Mansfield’s Car” is a dark family comedy that explores how war affects men and how fathers and sons so often fail to communicate.

“Tey,” a Senegalese modern fairy-tale which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival on Friday, depicts a young man who wakes up inexplicably knowing today is the last day of his life.
“Tey,” meaning “today” in the Wolof language, is one of three films in the competition set in Africa, which festival director Dieter Kosslick has described as “an almost forgotten continent in film.” (more…)

Actress Naomi Watts will play Britain’s Princess Diana in a new feature film about the last two years of her glamorous life that ended in tragedy, Britain’s Ecosse Films said on Thursday.
Called “Caught in Flight”, the movie is thought to be the first big screen film about Diana, whose death in a Paris car crash in 1997 has been chronicled in several, mostly U.S., television movies. (more…)

Now Angelina Jolie has another reason to accompany her Oscar-nominated husband Brad Pitt to the Academy Awards on February 26: Jolie will serve as a presenter, producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer announced on Wednesday.
Jolie’s directorial debut, “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” was not nominated for any Oscars this year. She did, however, supply a voice for one of the Best Animated Feature nominees, “Kung Fu Panda 2.”
She was last nominated for “Changeling” in 2008, and had something of an eye-opening public debut on the 1999 Academy Awards, when the won the Best Supporting Actress award for “Girl, Interrupted” and kissed her brother. (more…)

Facing a future where many movies will be seen in homes, Oscar organizers on Monday unveiled this year’s awards show theme at an annual luncheon honoring nominees by asking fans to relish memories of why they love movies and going to theaters.
“Celebrate the movies in all of us,” is the idea that Academy Award co-producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer, as well as Tom Sherak, the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, are asking film lovers to espouse this year. (more…)

Move over, Cannes. Maine will be playing host to its first-ever international mustache film festival, part of its annual pageant that celebrates the bristly facial hair.
The festival set for March 30 in Portland will feature short films with storylines that involve mustaches or a main character who wears a mustache, said Nick Callanan, head of No Umbrella Media, a video production company organizing the event.
The idea for the mustache film festival, believed to be the first of its kind, grew out of an annual mustache pageant held locally to benefit arts and cancer research organizations, he said. (more…)

Tom Hanks – an Academy governor, two-time Oscar winner and five time nominee – will serve as a presenter at the 84th Academy Awards, show producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer announced on Tuesday.
Hanks has been a fixture at Oscar shows for more than two decades, with duties that have ranged from presenting the Best Picture award to making a film advising nominees on how to give good acceptance speeches.
He was also pulled out of the audience to participate in David Letterman’s “Stupid Pet Trick” during Letterman’s ill-fated stint hosting the show in 1995. (more…)

Alba, who wed husband Cash Warren in 2008, has taken motherhood to heart, and mind, focusing on being a hands-on parent to her two daughters, 4-year-old Honor and newborn Haven.
